Dear Friends of Major Taylor:

The 1899 world bicycling champ known as "the Worcester Whirlwind" is
featured in a terrific new 2008 calendar titled "When I Grow Up I Want to
Be …," published by our friends at The Institute of Black Invention &
Technology (with help from the Irene E. and George A. Davis Foundation).
It´s available for $10 from www.tibit.biz

The month-by-month calendar features 12 photos of black youngsters in
different pursuits — sculptor, surgeon, opera singer, CYCLIST, banker,
jockey, pilot, runner, baseball player, judge, nurse, photographer. Each
picture is accompanied by text about a real-life African-American achiever
in that field. Of course, the cyclist is MAJOR TAYLOR.
