First, your club must have renewed its membership with USA Cycling in order to permit an event.
For a Competitive Event : Prize list offered
1.Road/Track/Cyclocross Competitive Event Application and Permit Fee 2.Road/Track/Cyclocross Competitive Event Checklist 3.Request for Certificate of Insurance and additional Insured[may be submitted after event is permitted] 4.Race Announcement / Flyer 5.Non-Owned/Hired Automobile or Motorcycle Insurance Request forms [may be submitted after event is permitted] 6.Event Medical Plan all riders must be licensed , sign rider release forms and pay $2 insurance surcharge. One day license are available for cat 5 men and cat 4 women only and cost $10. Non Competitive Event: No prize list offered 1. Non-Competitive Event Permit Application and Permit Fee 2.Event announcement / Flyer 3.Request for Certificate of Insurance and Additional Insured [may be submitted after event is permitted] all participants must be licensed , sign a release form and pay a $1 insurance surcharge. One-day license cost is $5 Fun Ride / Tour: No prize list offered 1. Fun Ride/Tour Non-Competitive Permit application and Permit Fee 2.Event Announcement / Flyer 3.Request for Certificate of Insurance and Additional Insured [ may be submitted after event is permitted] all participants must sign a release form and pay $1.50 insurance surcharge. Optional One-day license cost is $5 Collegiate Events: 1.Collegiate Competitive Event Permit Application and Permit Fee 2.Collegiate Competitive Event Checklist 3.Request for Certificate of Insurance and Additional Insured [may be submitted after event is permitted] 4.Race Announcement / Flyer 5.Non-Owned/Hired Auotomobile or Motorcycle Insurance Request Forms [may be submitted after event is permitted] 6. Event Medical Plan all riders must have either a USA Cycling Collegiate License or a Domestic USA Cycling license with a Collegiate sticker on the back, sign a release and pay $2 insurance surcharge. Youth Races Information: If your event includes a Youth Race [a race held on a closed course that is open only to riders with racing ages below 10, or up to 15 if there is no junior race specifically for that age] all participants need to complete and sign a one-day license form and pay the $2 insurance surcharge. The one-day license fee will be waived for anyone under 10. If you include for example 11 and 12 year olds in a youth race, then they would have to purchase an annual or one-day license. This information should be included on the race announcement.
