New England Bicycle Racing Association launches new website
Monday, August 05, 2002

The New England Bicycle Racing Association (NEBRA) is proud to announce the launch of its official website, www.ne-bra.org.

The creation of the site and NEBRA itself has been the culmination of many meetings over the course of this year, spearheaded by the energy, expertise, and resources of Portland Velo Club’s Bill Black, and assisted by a diverse group of cyclist from across the region.

The mission of the newly formed organization is to preserve and improve competitive cycling in New England, and the website will be one of the primary tools used towards that end, ideally putting all the work clubs, riders, coaches, and race organizers are already doing in New England under one umbrella, and then giving them additional assistance to help them be even more successful.

NEBRA intends to be transitionally operational for the 2002 cyclo-cross season, and fully operational for the start of the 2003 road season.
