Angel Charitable Trust Hosts Ride to benefit Children with Cancer Wednesday, February 23, 2005
I am writing on behalf of Angel Charitable Trust (ACT), a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to raise awareness and funds for children with cancer. Last year, ACT hosted the first ever charitable cycling event across Connecticut; raising nearly $70,000. This year ACT will again host the 130 mile, 2 day bike ride across scenic north/central Connecticut. Unlike many other charities, 100% of the monies raised goes directly to benefit the children; the money raised is evenly divided between Angel Charitable Trust and The Hole in The Wall Gang Camp, a camping retreat for children with cancer and other life-threatening diseases. ACT’s goal is to provide a new laptop computer for each child diagnosed with cancer in Connecticut, enabling them to interact with other children fighting the same battle as well as help them keep up with their academics.
We hope that you will assist us in spreading the word about this wonderful event that will be taking place on Memorial Day Weekend.
