2004 REGIONAL C OFFICIAL CLINIC — APRIL 3, 2004
WINDING TRAILS RECREATION, FARMINGTON, CT

A Regional ‘C’ Official Clinic will be held on April 3, 2004, at Winding Trails Recreation, Farmington, CT. We would like to start the seminar at 9:00 A.M. and run no later than 4:00 P.M. The agenda planned is for the Presentation and review following by open-book written exam.

Please note that USA Cycling Technical Commission has launched a new officiating program. The entire program is described in detail in the 2004 Official’s Administrative Handbook, which you may find online by going to the USA Cycling website (www.usacycling.org), clicking on the official’s tab, and then going to the section called Rulebooks and Manuals. You will also find the 2004 USCF and NORBA Rule Book (in pdf format). If you are mainly interested in doing NORBA races, you might also want to review the 2004 NORBA Official Guidebook. http://www.usacycling.org/news/user/story.php?id=369

Brief Summary of Seminar:
The power point presentation will be reviewed, followed by time for questions and review for all three (3) discipline of Road, Track and Mountain. You will be tested on an open-book bases on the Rule books.

Since the presentation is in a power point presentation, I would like to ask that if you have access to a lap top to please bring. You can download the presentation at this link: http://homepage.mac.com/nakedpage/cat_c

I will also make cd copies of the presentation for distribution but you might want to review materials prior to the seminar. This will give you an opportunity to come with questions for discussion.

We want to prepare you to be the best official in whatever class of racing you chose.

There will be a small charge to cover refreshments and lunch. Your official’s license cost is $35.00, and payable to USACYCLING via check or Visa credit card.

Should you have any questions regarding the seminar (or anything else), please feel free to contact us.

Please RSVP if you will be attending or not.

Thanks so very much,

Dick and Sue Lutz
