Announcing the 2003 NECSA Points Competition series

ANNOUNCING THE 2003 NECSA Points Competition Series for Cub Junior Men and
Women 10-12, 13-14 (in the C race), Junior Men 15-16 and 17-18, Junior Women
15-16 and 17-18 (in the B Women’s race); Espoirs (in the A race) Master Women (in
the Women’s A race), Masters 45-49 and NEW this year (Master 50 plus).

In this series all races are counted for points. Point schedule is: 1st (15
points), 2nd (12 pts), 3rd (10 pts), 4th (8 pts), 5th (7 pts), 6th (6 pts), 7th
(5 pts), 8th (4 pts), 9th (3 pts), 10th (2 pts), 11th on (1 pt). Prize
distribution: 3 places each group. Total prize amount: $510.00.

CONTINUING THIS YEAR: The Tim Johnson Junior Cyclocross Development Series
for junior men and women 10-12, 13-14, 15-16 and 17-18. The points schedule is
the same as the NECSA series above. The following races are TJJCDS races:

Sept 27 – BCA Cyclocross, Pittsfield, MA
Sept 28 – Competitive Edge Cyclocross, Northfield, MA
Oct 4 – Schoolhouse Cyclocross, Montpelier, VT
Oct 5 – Central Park Cyclocross, Schenectady, NY
Oct 19 – Wicked Maine Cyclocross, New Gloucester, ME
Oct 26 – HVVC Cyclocross, Southington, CT
Nov 8 – Frank n’ Horst Cyclocross, Keene, NH
Nov 15 – Plymouth Cyclocross, Plymouth, MA
Nov 23 – South Fork Cyclocross Series No 2, Sag Harbor, NY
Nov 3 – Winding Trails Cyclocross, Farmington, CT
Dec 7 – Kingstown Cyclocross, Kingstown, RI

The state championships are as follows:

RI – Dec 7 – Kingstown
CT – Nov 3 – Winding Trails, Farmington
ME – Oct 19 – Wicked Maine, New Gloucester
NH – Nov 8 – Frank n’ Horst, Keene
