Regional C Official's Clinic - Sat, 06 Feb 2010 presented by:
There will be a USA Cycling Regional C Official’s Clinic Saturday February 6, 2010 at the Manchester Police Dept. in Manchester, CT.
This is a beginner’s clinic for those interested in becoming a USA Cycling licensed official. A PowerPoint presentation that includes the basic rules of road, track, cyclo-cross and mountain bike racing is given followed by an open book test. Joining me as an instructor will be CT official Bruce Bockstael. I encourage everyone to take a look at the 2010 USA Cycling rulebook which can be found on the USA Cycling website: https://www.usacycling.org/news/user/story.php?id=4220
The class will be held in the Community Room from 9am – 3 pm. Coffee and bagels will be available in the morning and we will order pizza for lunch. I will also bring a case of water. NEBRA will cover the cost of the food. You are also welcome to bring your own food if you prefer.
There is no charge for the clinic. However, for those who pass the test you will need to purchase a USA Cycling officials license for $35. Either cash or checks payable to USA Cycling Inc will be accepted.
If you are interested in attending please let me know no later than Sunday Jan 31 so I can be sure to have enough materials and rulebooks for everyone. Directions are below and I will follow-up with an e-mail the week before the clinic. Please feel free to call me at any time if you have a question about the class.
